Team Charter

Team Purpose

This team will design and develop a respiratory device to assist in CPR. Ideally, the project will automate the function and benefits of a Bag Valve Mask, while being highly portable.

Duration and Time Commitment

The team has been commissioned to work together for a total of twelve months, ending in December 2014.

Scope

Activities that take place during the conceptual design and design embodiment phases of the project. The team will not be responsible to manufacture for distribution or to market the design.

Desired End Result

This team will identify, formulate and prototype solutions to developing a final product. The team will be expected to have a fully constructed prototype delivered by the end of the project. The final product must provide patient benefit and ease of use for the care provider operating the device.

Reporting Plan

The group will provide a weekly report that outlines changes to client input, any problems that have been identified, conceptual designs, and to current prototypes.
